Once the day-trippers left, the atmosphere was peaceful, and waking up right by the water set the perfect tone for our sailing trip.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We stayed at a guestohouse only a few steps from the sailing dock, with super friendly owners, and I\u2019m glad we stayed there. \u00dc\u00e7a\u011f\u0131z gave me the chance to experience Kekova more slowly and authentically, a contrast to the busy coastal towns nearby, and it made our boat trip feel even more special. To eat, I can recommend the restaurant \u201cKordon Restoran\u201d, where we had delicious fish and seafood with a beautiful view to the style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The real highlight of our visit was the <\/span>sailing day<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. From \u00dc\u00e7a\u011f\u0131z (Kekova Marina), our group set off on a private family-run boat along the coast, and we spent the day drifting past half-submerged Lycian ruins, the so-called Sunken City, which is even more magical than the photos show.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We stopped frequently to swim and snorkel in <\/span>crystal-clear coves<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, where the water was so transparent you could see straight to the sea floor. Even from the water, it looked magical, with stone houses cascading down the hillside, a medieval castle at the top, and caf\u00e9s right by the shore. It\u2019s also famous for homemade ice cream, which I regret not trying! Eating while anchored in the middle of the bay, with the sun overhead and the sea all around us, was one of those moments that makes you pause and appreciate the slower pace of life on the Mediterranean.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The sailing day was the perfect pause from all the sightseeing of the trip. No schedules, no list of things to do, just pure relaxation and fun.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
